Red face Is using a plastic bottle for a bubblenest okay?

So I just cut the bottom off of a reular old "bottled water" bottle. I cleaned it like crazy. And then I put it in my tank so my Betta has somewhere to build a bubblenest without it being destroyed. Is this idea okay?

It's fine. I've also used a piece of Styrofoam from a little bowl, and it worked as well.

Want to know something that works like a charm. Get yourself a square feeding ring that has a suction on it and stick it to the tank, it won't move and it makes a great area for the males to make a nice bubblenest...

Yup it's fine. Most of us breeders use bubblewrap, plastic lids, and styrofoam cups cut in half lengthwise.
