I had these worms years ago when I had gravel in the tank, the fish ate some of them but they are not very pretty to look at. They won't cause any issues but like others have said its a sign of exess food in the tank.

Do your water changes and feed light and you should win the battle...

I did a large water change and sucked most of them up. :D Thats what I did yesterday, I took my fish out because I was worried about harming them when I was moving the gravel around (plus the dusty water) and sucked up a ton of feces and dirt and stuff. Is the vaccum expensive?

That is good you got alot of the stuff out, bet there is alot more in there. Those vacums are really cheap and so worth it. The pic above shows what they look like, its just a bigger tube with the hose attached to it. It works so well in gravel as it sucks up the gravel to a point but all the stuff in that gravel is what is sucked out, they are great. If you have sand then you have to be careful as it will suck all the sand out too. I have had the same vacum for years, just about time to replace it, they are the best tool you can have with gravel bottoms.
