Polaris doesn't do much.....

I know I just got him on Wednesday, but my new CT/VT Polaris doesn't seem very happy or active in his tank. Now granted its a Critter Keeper, but I still think its nice for a temporary home until I make a divider for my 5 gallon. But all Polaris does is float near the surface in a corner, or just pick one spot and stay there for a while. He doesn't swim around or even flare like Adamu does (Constantly), and tonight he won't even eat. He either ignores the pellets or spits them and trys to eat them again.

Maybe he still needs time to adjust, he is only about 3 months old after all. Any tips?

hmm, it's possible. Give him some more time, make sure he's staying warm, and possibly even keep his critter keeper in a slightly dark place so if he is stressed he can calm down.

I agree, he may be a little stressed out. How big is the critter keeper?

Yeah I guess its stress, but he still hasn't eaten this morning or last night. I mean he tries to eat the pellet, but then spits it back out and forgets about it.

I think the Critter Keeper is about 2-2.5 Gallons, it didn't say when I bought it. But I'm going to be putting him in a divided 5.5 Gallon tank with my Delta Adamu when its done cycling.

He could still be stressed.. I always get worried because I bought a betta that seemed healthy, but mostly just didn't move a whole lot. he died after 4 days. he didnt eat once though, and was never really THAT active.
hope you have better luck. <3
