Check out craigslist, also, I think petco is having a sale on tanks. One dollar per gallon (I was so tempted to get a 40 gallon tank but no room :( )

target sells 1/2 gallon, 1 gallon and 2 gallon jars. I bought the 1 gallon and I am moving my fish from a 1/2 gallon critter carrier to a 1 gallon jar and I will tell you how it works out! heres the links:

2 gallon- 2 gallon jar
They sell that last jar at most Super Walmarts for a few dollars less. =]
That's what I'm keeping Genie in right now and he loves it. <3

Mine's not filtered though. :/ The sponge filter I made didn't turn out too well and I'm currently on the hunt for a better design. :/

I saw 2-3 gallon jars at target. They are like the ones peaches posted but they have thin stainless steel lids, you may even drill holes in them and keep them on :P

Check local pet stores for clearance items, as well! I got four 2gal hex tanks for $5 a piece at my local petco.

Craigslist is a good place as well, just be careful.

alright well i threw out the idea of a 20 gallon divided tank as i have possibly aquired 3 more bettas from my bff...i was looking at the large kritter keepers and placing them on some shelves in my room, and maybe putting some shelves on my walls....do you think this would be a good idea??
