Well I went out and got another anubias and some java moss. Attached everything that needed attaching, which was actually quite fun. On top of that, I found a tiny snail that was hidden in the java moss. I'll probably have to take him out later since it's only a 2g, but we'll see how it goes for now. :) The little snail is so small I had to circle him in red. Hope everyone like the pics!

wow that looks beautiful!!! and your bettas a pretty boy! is that the petco brand hex? it looks like the one i have. also, you may want to remove the snail, snails that come on plants usually procreate a bunch and you'll end up with hundreds of them...

It looks great......since I am a fan of snails and view them as a benefit that completes the ecosystem in a glass box....I say keep the snail and keep them under control...my snails have a job in my little planted ecosystems...they eats algae on the plant leaves, eat decaying plant matter, create infusoria for my fry tanks, eat left over food...the bioload they create is small as compared to what they can do in a closed system as long as the population is kept under control.

Thanks guys! I think I'll keep the snail in, hopefully I won't have to worry about baby snails for a while. :)

@ celine18 - I don't remember where I got the tank since it's well over 4 years old, though the other one I have is like this but with a better hood, and I'm pretty sure I got it from petsmart.

Thanks TaylorW! Yeah, I like the little snail, though it's so easy to lose sight of because of how tiny it is. :)
