Why are all my fish murderers :(

I woke up yesterday to do dead guppies, and now today my last 2 female bettas are on their way out. I've had these new guppies only a week and they have managed to kill nearly 5 of my fish At the moment, I have Tinie in my 8 Gallon tank with the water level down very low and some AQ salt, I doubt she will survive India (the psycho betta) is in a cup, I thought it would be best for her as she's not moving, just floating she probably won't last the day I feel like crying, especially since Tinie is my fave girl, why don't I have luck with my fish

Sorry to hear about your fish...never thought guppies would be aggressive enough to take a betta down, usually it's the other way around.

WOW that's weird! Sorry about your bad news. :(

Are you sure they were attacking & it wasn't caused by some fast working
parasite or virus they brought in (that they themselves were immune too)??

Nope. The fish have been absolutely fine, eating and active then when I get up they are either dead or battered and bruised and close to death.

I usually heard bettas go after guppies bc of their similar long finnage...I'd ask the Livebearer forum folks though for sure...I wonder why they had an attitude?? hm..
