For the past couple of years -

my kitchen betta, Betta Crocker, and I would have morning coffee together. Well, I would have coffee and he would have his breakfast. Always full of spunk & personality that one - VERY interactive. For the first time EVER yesterday morning, he didn't eat his breakfast so I knew something was up and did a partial water change on his 5 gal., filtered, heated, planted tank. SEEMED to perk him up a tad, but in the end, to no avail. Betta Crocker was dead this morning in his floating plants (where he always slept at night). Buried him in one of the flower beds. I sure will miss the little guy!!!

R.I.P. Betta Crocker and thank you for all the joy you brought to my life!

Oh I'm sorry :( At least he was with you for quite a while and had a good life :D Great name too! I'm sure he enjoyed every breakfast with you!

Thanks all for the kind words. Crocker will be sorely missed, believe me! I think - HOPE - I gave him a good life. He sure seemed to enjoy it while he was here.
