Don't give up on your dragon. MIne looked a lot like yours, and it was pineconed and bloated, but it survived.

Thanks guys. Yeah he is actually sitting up today but still breathing pretty hard hopefully he will tackle whatever he is facing and get better! Only have had him for like 2-3 weeks! :(

Thank you. I threw in some aquarium salt but other than that I have no idea what else to do because he was fine until I put him in the tank a couple hours after he just started lying on the gravel then he became worse lying sideways like he was dying or even dead. He's got a heater in there his temp is 80. So what else should I do?

Take him out and put him in clean water. =] Or take him out, clean the entire tank and set it up again.

try lowering the water level so there is more air above it in the tank, and so he doesnt have to swim as far to reach the air. what are you using to treat the water? how did you acclimate him to your water?

I think if I take him out he will be worse off and die. I did that with my red Betta that just passed and hours later he died. I think he has a better chance of living by staying in there. Of course I treated the water with aquaplus I have over 40 bettas I know how to introduce them to new water/tank. However this is a used tank so maybe I should of cleaned it better ....
