Loki Kissed Me

This is only my third week of betta ownership so excuse the excessive squeeeeing...

Loki has been very interested in my movements all day. Today at feeding time I hovered my (clean) finger just a hair above the surface and he poked his head up and nipped or bumped me or something. (It didn't hurt, it was just adorable).
Then I slowly moved my finger back and forth and he swam under it, following me.

I am sure this is because he knew he was getting fed, but I am happy to pretend it's because he loves me.

They do like touch (from plants and soft things, I'm not advocating petting them all the time ! lol) and

That is awesome.
My boy is curious so he'll swim up to my hand but he doesn't touch it, and if I move he runs away. He also does this with my gravel vac so I'm alway paranoid he'll get sucked up.

thats so cute ,all my guys will take food off my finger and the girls well they have no fear they follow me even when i use the vac or when i use the net to take stuff off the top of there tank i have to get them to move...

that's so adorable! My bettas start flaring if they see my finger and my betta mysterion whenever he sees me coming back home from something he'll flare at me.... lols
