Question telling

can people tell if the egg has been fertilized by the male after the spawn and how??? i want to know because i wanna see if my survivor eggs will hatch and if not i will have to get rid of it and spawn some more.

Nope there's no way to tell. Usually they are.

Also I'd hold off on spawning for a while until you get the proper set up.

Depending on the temperature of the tank the eggs will hatch within 24-48 hours of being laid. Once they hatch you will see little tails hanging from the nest and occasionally one will fall from the nest and swim back into it. Another 24-48 hours they will be free swimming.
