Our new Petco find!

Dropped by Petco today with my niece and we couldn't resist this lovely HM BF male! I am pleasantly surprised by the quality and selection of their bettas, and they were able to tell me exactly when he had arrived. He had only been in his horrible blue cup for a few days, so he's quite a bit more vibrant than other pet store bettas I have had.

My niece named him Hunter. This is a video of him just a few minutes after full introduction to the tank.

@bettafish15: It's actually our breeding tank, because we didn't have a separate space set up for him when we brought him home. So it's a 10g long with a heater, sponge filter, fake and real plants, etc. Kind of thrown together for him but he seems to enjoy it :) my only other option was a divider in my sorority tank but I have some really mean females who would stress him out! (Anybody else have females far more aggressive than males? LOL)

LOL I see! Good thing you didnt put him in the female tank, all your females woulda been full of eggs, even with the divider :P A 10g is awesome :D The plant at the top was neat, and he seemed to love it :D I should get some kind of real or fake floating plant...

bettafish15: I know, if I were a female betta I'd be all over him in a heartbeat! Haha. I do have some females ready to go but I want to get him settled in before I try spawning... Patience is a virtue, but a sucky one for sure. :D

Lol at 1:11 in the video, STATUE OF LIBERATY!!!! I usually say that when Miyavi is sitting still like that. I guess it just a betta thing.
