I was just cleaning Churro's bowl, and I scooped him up into a little plastic container but then I realized it was way too small so I grabbed a bigger container and tried to scoop some water into it, you know to keep my betta in while I cleaned his bowl and everything. Only the container was so big it wouldn't fit through the top of the bowl. So... I knew I had to get my fish out of the little container so I could use it to dump water into the big container. I tried to scoop him out with his net, but of course, the net didn't fit in his container so I knew I had to just dump him out of the little container back into his bowl. But like most fish, when they're about to be dumped out of a container they rush to the back to fight the current, so most of the water was out by the time my little guy came sliding forward and of course he was in total panic, and flipping everywhere and the opening to his bowl isn't very big so he slid right over the top and started flopping around on my desk, and flopped under my jewelry box... the worst part? my cat was there and heard all the flipping and I was panicking and since he flopped under my jewelry box I had NO clue where he was and I thought oh DARN he might have flopped onto the floor and my cats there... but then I saw the corner of his fins come out from under my jewelry box so I lifted it up, grabbed him and cupped him in my hands, and returned him to his bowl... scary moment o.o he's acting normal now and he was only out of water for like, 15 seconds, but just wanted to make sure he'll be okay?
