Food suggestions?

Can anyone suggest specific types and brands of high quality food for bettas? Also, specific feeding instructions? Our boy is on pellets but we've read that might not be best for him. However, we aren't sure what brands and types of frozen food to buy or how exactly to feed it. Seems like this might be difficult when you're only feeding one fish.

Thank you!

I use pellets, flakes and freeze dried blood worms to feed my three boys.

Pellets are the best, i use new life spectrum. I also read Omega One Buffet is a good brand. Soak the food in water for a little bit so your fish doesn't get constipated.

Omega One is excellent pellet food. Usually my fishies will get three pellets in the morning and evening, but sometimes I'll switch to frozen food, it's really up to what I feel like feeding.

I've got a pack of San Fransisco Bay frozen bloodworms that are only half cubes, it's a really good deal. You could also get a big chunk of frozen and just chip off what you need. :)

As staple, Hikari Bio Gold pellets are great quality pellets!
2-3 pellets twice a day is a good amount to feed your betta.
For good treats you can get frozen brine shrimp (not freeze-dried).

you can get Attison betta pro as a staple. 3-4 pellets twice a day. once or twice a week give them bloodworms, tubifex, mosquito larvae, or brine shrimp, and daphnia also.

Can you tell me if the NLS pellets are smaller than the Atisons pellets??

My boys will not eat the Atisons as they are to big.

I feed NLS Betta, NLS Growth, Attinson's Betta, Omega One, Hikari brand frozen foods (blood worms, brineshrimp, daphnia, glass worms, mysis shrimp). I also feed live white worms and wingless fruit flys.
