Look what I saw at PetSmart!

I was really shocked to see this when I was looking at the betta section...

It probably sucks... but at least there is an attempt being made. And maybe people will get the hint now that they need a heater. Maybe.

Here is a link to it: http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...ductId=4455060

I saw that today at Big Al's too. They're basically like hydor mini heaters and only raise the temperature a few degrees. Still, it's good that they're targetting them towards bettas so people will know that they do need warm water!

well lets hope this soon leads to better care for poor betta fish not only in homes but in petstores.

My petsmart started labeling their plant tubes for aquatic, and semi-aquatic plants.

It's right on a college campus, and they finally have an employee (college student) who knows how to care for a planted tank. I was super happy about that!

Yay for smart pet-store employees!

wow, talk about a rip off, but hey, at least things are changing for the better! It's too bad it's designed for bowls, meaning people will still think tiny bowls with few water changes are alright.
