Who can I call for help with a sick feral kitten?

My friend in Miami Federal has been feeding & playing with the "jailhouse kittens" in the outside area...He wrote that one has had an eye infection for like 3 weeks , and wishes a No Kill agency would come get him...The kittens are friendly mostly & all the inmates give them tuna packets. lol
The actually prison isn't offering to contact animal rescues...Do you know any I can
contact?? Thanks for any ideas.

A little neosporin topical antibiotic might work wonders surely someone in the infirmary must have a soft spot in their heart and I can't feature neo being considered a contraband item.

If the prison's going to allow them, surely they can allow them some minimal care.

I'll ask him if he's ran it by the infirm yet...He said the eye has pus on it every morning, and the kitten doesn't show any pain when he wipes it away, and acts playful/happy otherwise...he wants to take it to his cell.. lol but of course that's a big no no!

Best to your friend too, I have a friend who did 8 years in Florence on bogus added charges when the prosecuter couldn't make the original bogus filing stick.

Ugh Yeah Feral I know what you mean! It is hard having them gone so long. :(
He was my best platonic guy friend & is in on tax evasion charges...lame...His golddigging GF got mad he didn't buy her purses anymore & made up stuff to the IRS...but at least he's allowed to email friends.
