change of plan; skinny's new huge vivarium!

lol CHANGE OF PLAN....
had started building fake rocks for another viv a lil while back. had ordered it from the local pet store. but wont arrive as its out of stock...


BUT
i found this viv for cheap! and had to have it. was waiting on a smaller glass viv to be delivered to my pet shop but said this is the better, bigger, cheaper option!!! this is IT! im happy as larry... and so is skinny!

had a stand left over from a fish tank that fits perfect!
bought a few nice plants and oats on the way home. they look


arranged my lights, thermometer and heat mat;




so, went out into the country side and got some rocks;





the old viv, for size, without decor of course... skinny is eager to get out lol


and got my mum to clean out old viv haha


so what do ye think guys.... i LOVE the viv.... its awsome..


and skinny all settled small 3g aquarium to the right...




btw viv is 4x2x2 ft

thank you CR! yeah it looks great! its dark here now and the light really makes it come out well. he's walking around licking everything, as they do lol. he tried to eat every single plant in there, but noticed they are plastic, so gave up fast lol.
the rocks will need to heat up properly though. takes a while as they are fairly big. once they are warm though they'll keep him cosy at night.

only thing i THINK i may need to do is put the UVB bulb higher up. i hear it damages eyes and skin if they can bask too close. do you know anything bout that CodeRed?

thanks guys! he really does love it! this morning there was a bad small of damp algae off the stones... although i washed them. took then, gonna give em a brush with a nail brush and stick them in the oven!!! grrr...... i hate working with natural materials caus the minute you try adapt them for something they dont work....
