What type of camera do you use to take betta pics?

My camera has finally died. It never took great quality pics of my fish..always came out blurry even on the focused setting. So I'm in the market for a new camera.. I found a great one for cheap on Amazon..the Nikon Coolpix L22 12.0MP Digital Camera with 3.6x Optical Zoom and 3.0-Inch LCD

Does anyone use this camera for taking pictures of bettas? If not, what kind of camera do you use? I want something that focuses nicely. Not looking for a hardcore expensive camera..I am a college kid, money is tight!

I have an old Nikin Coolpix L1. The battery hatch is broken, but it's still rather useful.

Anything that can take macro shots will do :) I use an old digital camera (Fujifilm Finepix f20) from like 2-4 years ago. And back then it was one of the cheaper models. It works wonderfully when using the "flower" setting.

I just use my iPhone4. I have a really old digital minolta from 8 years ago but I don't like to use it. My iPhone has better quality and the Minolta eats batteries like crazy. 2 AA bateries only last about 5-10 pictures.

Canon Powershot SX20IS

Yeah my old Nikon had a macro(flower) setting and the camera refused to focus on my fish, always blurry! Flash or no flash. It was ridiculous.

I really want the Canon Powershot! Although the Nikon Coolpix is cheaper($79.98)..I'm just afraid of the Nikon brand since my last camera did so poorly.

Thats awesome that an iPhone can take such good pictures! I'd get one if I could afford it.. I'm a HUGE apple fan.. I'm typing on a macbook right now..its the love of my life :)

For examples of my cameras poor quality just look at my photos or avatar. See how out of focus it is? My favorite of my boys, Amazon, is an amazing quality CT male that is GORGEOUS in detail. I would love to be able to show him off to everyone!

Get the Powershot (; It's more expensive, but the pictures it can take of fish are amazing. It's macro is very, very good. Just check out some of my pictures to see what I'm talking about.

CodeRed- Yeah, just looking at your avatar makes me want the powershot! I want detail like that in my pictures! I'm torn between 2 models of the powershot.. they're both in my price range, one is a little more but the reviews are up and down so I can't decide...

Which one do you guys think is better? The more expensive 14.1 MP one? The reviews are better for the other one.. I've done so much research and I'm still stumped..I need a tie breaker! :P
