Help??

I've had my betta since July of this year. He's a very active swimmer and a good eater. I change his water out every 1-2 weeks. About a week ago I noticed that he was getting a bump over his right eye. There is also discoloration (his red scales are now a shiny gray-ish-white) on the underside of the right side. I'm not sure what it could be... Sorry the pictures aren't that good.





Also, the bump appears to be smooth.
