Tetra HT30 100w submersible heater

guys i turn this heater about an hour ago and my water doest feel like 78 degrees.
feels like 60s.

it says its 10-30 gallon.. and i have 10 gallons.

should i wait or return this heater and get a better one?
(i preffer complete submersible)

oh man nvm.
i just read the tips on the heater manual.
1. allow 24 hours for the water to reach correct temperature before adding fish.
2. use an aquarium hood or cover and keep it closed to prevent excessive heat loss.


..... n my 10 gal aquarium is next to my open window (just little bit for my live blackworms) :O

Yeah, instructions are a good thing :P

Also, you might want to invest in a thermometer. Only about $2 and you'll be able to see what the temp actually is.

yeah, i have this cewl 2.49 strip termo.
but people said get the oldschool glass one.
strip thermo are not quiet accurate because it tells the glass aquarium not the water itself.

Or better yet, a digital thermometer. My husband gave me one last year & I LOVE it!!!!
