Ouch, sorry about your boy :/ Though, your other fish are doing well right? What sized tank are your boys divided into?

If you're got bettas in a ten gallon with 10 goldfish, something is really wrong. Goldfish need about 20 gallons to start and 10 for each additional one (they can get pretty big and are really messy fish). Plus, goldies are coldwater fish, bettas are tropical. They don't mix.

probably not my place to say it... but you shouldn't punish your males for something that is natural for them to do.

ditto. Plus, females can be just as brutal as males. You never know... you may wake up one day to dead and injured fish.

I really don't want to be rude, but your 10 gallon is WAY overstocked... and bettas and goldfish require completely different temperatures....

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that's really not going to end well, for the bettas or the goldfish :(

I use to have 3 goldfish in a 10 gallon tank and it was costing me out the butt to keep it clean! I went through so many filters and water changes(had to buy water cause the house used well water and it is always yellow-yuck) I just could not bear it anymore. For you to have triple of what I had I hate to imagine the time and money you are putting into the tank. Assuming you are doing the proper water changes?
