My rather interesting boy!

Our Betta, Tazz, is...not a normal Betta. He sleeps on his side like a human, gets excited at the cannon, doesn't bother his own reflection, and has bent gill plates. He also has chronic constipation, even a pea a day doesn't help, so he gets fed less than he should. He is still active however, and loves our ADF.

He also loves that cannon and tries to kill me when I move it for cleaning.

Does anyone know what species he is, and if that's finrot starting? I have a hard time telling because he had those spindly bits all along...

I've also never seen a betta with black blue red AND white hints as well as sliver!...

He seriously tries to kill me if I touch his little fake cannon! Flares and nips and everything! Almost makes me want to dye my hand blue and play with him (lol)

It does look like he has fin rot.
To help treat that you can add a teaspoon of aquarium salt per gallon.

it's probably finrot or tailbiting, either way, increasing your water changes so he has cleaner water, and a teaspoon of aquarium salt per gallon of water for no more than 10 days will heal him up. :)

he's really pretty, and his tailtype is probably a halfmoon.

Awww! Well...

http://www.bettatalk.com/betta_diseases.htm Little more than Halfway down Swim Bladder is spoken about. Since you mentioned constipation maybe fast him for a day or so?
