I use just plain old aquarium sponge strips cut for the baffle...I play around with it, sticking it in the filter, and also rubber banding it around the outflow, until I get it how I want. Sometimes if you put too much in, the water overflows the top...so keep an eye on it for like 30 minutes.

I didn't see it at petco/petsmart but maybe I wasnt looking well enough...It's under "Filter Media"
on some websites...like here....Aquarium Sponge Carbon Biochemical for Fish Tank - Wholesale Factory Direct

My strips were in a bucket @ the LFS, $1 for 2 12in strips. :)

You can buy it at petco. Just look in the filter section.
For stylish good looking tanks The Chi and Fluval Edge come to mind... But what is inside is what matters most. A nicely decorated tank will look stunning whether its a fancy rimless cube or a bulky hex ;)

Oh ya & look in thrift stores too! A member here has found many steals on tank kits, never used or used without any cracking. :)

I don't think I've ever seen any fish supplies or tanks in any of my local thrift stores.

This one looks cool. It's 6.6 gallons and shallow, like Bettas prefer. http://www.petco.com/product/14978/P...t=FishFC_Tanks
