Rave : AquariumPlants.com - They all came today...

And they all look so healthy!! The Amazon Sword is HUGE, like 12-18 inches tall...I was going to put them in my 10's but in person they are too tall, so the 16G sorority got them instead :)
The anacharis, wendtii & java plant "mat" that is 3x5 inches look better than expected too.
Funny thing is...the supplier tag is the same place that my LFS store uses, but it's cheaper
to buy online. :) The bettas are happy with their new hiding places!

Gotta love getting great deals :) I haven't dealt with real aquarium plants yet. I'm still waiting for some marimos to come in the mail from Ebay.

WeLuvBettas - yes they do...They don't guarantee live arrival unless you pick Overnight Shipping...But even w/ overnight cost ($40)...it still worked out to like $3 a plant, cheaper than at my LFS. The packaging was very well done, and the plants were still damp wrapped.
I love anacharis!

Some might want to do a "group buy" with other members locally to save multiple shipping costs.

Dani- I hope your marimo ball comes in good shape :) All the live plants I picked are hardy as long you don't totally bury the roots...It might look nicer with buried roots but they'll rot in doing so.
They don't mind being moved around either...I've redecorated many times & they never die. :)

LOOKS SO GOOD! Great plant for a sorority, since it breaks up the line of sight at the top! Congrats on the plants arriving safely :D

You know it's cool how they never acted overly aggressive to each other, even at the start...maybe an hour of minor nipping, then the next morning everyone was more interested in pellets. lol When I changed their tank decor, the fighting never restarted either...at least what I could see...

Them amzon swords look nice. What are you gonna feed them?? you might need root tabs for them if you have normal gravel. Also what wattage are your lights>?

WLB - It's the stock Tetra 16G kit light...it says it's a T8 18W white fluorescent lamp.

Do you think I should get root tabs? The gravel is this ... Freshwater Aquarium Substrate: CaribSea Instant Aquarium Tropical Aquarium Substrate .... it's a very fine gravel, and it did cycle the tank
faster as claimed. :)
