Buffalo- Jeffery hated it, the other two went nuts
Tilapia- Unanimously loved
Bacon- Jeffery spit his out, Gyarados played with his for fifteen minutes before nomming and Ariel inhaled hers.
Turkey- Everyone was pretty Meh.

Now granted, these occurrences were very few and far between. The bacon thing was possibly fueled by cold meds ("I can taste my bacon today!... Jeffery would you like bacon?") and will never be done again. The same thing with the Turkey. However the buffalo is something I'll continue during those rare occasions when I treat myself to bison meat, and my roommate cooks a lot of fish so she's always sure to pinch off a small bit and give some to everyone for dinner before she throws it in the pan.

They also get chicken from time to time, and bits of raw steak, however their main diet is always 2 pellets twice a day. They tend to get any kind of meat (usually chicken or fish) only once a week. It does give them some variety, which they all seem to enjoy.

Haven't fed anything apart from fish food to my bettas. Wouldn't mind trying shrimp or something once, but I hate seafood so it'll never happen.

Yep, a betta's stomach is the size of it's eyeball. And when dry foods get wet they expand.... so you can see how those two facts coupled together can be a recipe for disaster :/

Wow, there are some interesting responses here. Ideas to try, and some to avoid (like the whole bread situation). Thanks everyone for you comments.
