Bubba and "Jenn-naayy"

My new breeders (or will be once they grow up a bit more).

Jenny..

Bubba..

He's still a little shy.

And just for kicks a few randoms from tonight.

Myrtle being cute for Tallahassee (who's tank was pushed up against hers)

And some of the girl babies who got put in a little container so I could do a big water change without sucking them up.

My goal is to spawn them like the 1st week in January. That gives me 2 weeks to let them settle in and about 2 weeks to condition them. That's also good because by the time the babies are ready to go to their new homes it will be April/May and shipping will be cheaper because I won't need heat packs. Winter shipping is nerve wracking LOL

Lol well both breeding in the winter or the summer have advantages and disadvantages....If you breed in the winter you won't need heat packs when shipping, but you need to figure out how you are going to keep those jars warm. When breeding in the summer it's the complete opposite. lol

LOL.. too true. I'm already having to save up to buy heat strips for my jars to sit on because I can't afford bunches of little heaters.

They're all so very cute! Your pair will make great fry. :)

That little girl at the bottom reminds me of Zippity. :D

Hehehe.. wanna guess what Bubba had for dinner... -------> shrimp

So did the other fish but I got a chuckle out of feeding Bubba.

All the fry remind me of Zippity.. mostly because they're all her size :p. There's one that gets on my nerves because she ALWAYS has stress lines so I really don't know what color she is. The fry in the bottom in the last pic is actually really nice. She's the color of Bowie (her father) and has a decent butterfly pattern going on, which is uncommon for females.
