Sorority~

Lol, so I adopted four of 1F2F's girls from her sorority , and I've just now finished reintroducing them into my 10 gallon tank. Everything went well, there was almost no chasing or nipping, they were at it for a second or two, then I tossed in some Omega One tropical fish flakes to distract them, and now everything is peaceful. Aurora was chasing Phobe, and Foxy chased aurora for one lap around the tank then got bored. Phoebe is hiding up top in the back right hand corner where the water lettuce and fake ivy is most dense. Aurora is clamping her fins and avoiding Foxy and Jaffa, but out in the open. I don't know if Foxy or Jaffa is alpha, but they swim together and don't flare... I think they're equal. :D

I can't wait to get a sorority they sound so fun! Lol I love how the 2 alphas hang out together. That's the reason they reccomend odd numbers, so that an (notice, AN, not 2) alpha can be chosen. Lol, sounds so funny! (= <3

Lol, things have changed. Now that they're all settled in, Jaffa's re-established herself as complete alpha. Everyone's peaceful, and once I figure out what's up with them, I might add another girl or two. You do not need even ammounts of girls for an alpha to be chosen, it just takes a bit for the top to be fully decided

Your thread has made me very relieved. I'm so glad your sorority is working out so well. I want to be just like you! You're really lucky they aren't fighting. Do you have any tricks, or was it just the fish?
