Round #2 - Cycling Question!! :) Thanks!!

Hey! So I tried to look through other posts before asking a redundant question but I couldn't quite find what I was looking for soooo here we go :)

My fish got sick in his tank so I took him out, put him in a 1 gallon jar and have been doing 100% water changes on him - he looks incredible, fins fully out now and flaring at everything and anything :)

I am getting his 4 gallon tank back up and running. I set it up about a week ago and put in Stress Coat and Stress Zyme. I tested my levels today and everything is good but my ammonia is at about 0.25. I have been cycling it without any fish in it.

I am getting impatient to put him back in there because it is getting cold here and even with my heater on in my house, I am worried my little guy will get too cold in his bowl.

Do I need to wait longer for the tank to cycle before putting my betta in??

Do I need to put the betta in the tank in order to cycle it properly?

Will your heater not fit into your temporary tank?

Nope :( Way too big - should he be fine though with the apartment's heat on?
