How long do frozen bloodworms stay good?

I want to feed my girls bloodworms tonight, but I realized that I've had the frozen bloodworms in the freezer for 5-6 months now, from when I fed them to Puffy and Simba. I know they should still be good, but I just want to make sure. :)

I don't know about anybody else's experience, but the times I have purchased frozen foods from my LFS, I was told to use it up within 4 months.

:/ alright. I'm slightly skeptical, seeing as that's coming from a LFS, but oh well. I'll probably go pick up a new pack sometime tomorrow (along with another girl or two if I can't control myself XD)

All I can tell you about that particular LFS is that they have ALWAYS been very, very good to me & given me good advice. It's the kind of place that QT's any new fish for two weeks before putting it out on the floor to sell. When they tell me something, I listen - but that's just me.

Matter of fact, back in the day when I used to raise fresh water angels, it was the ONLY place I would take my babies to!

If they start to look brown instead of red when thawed it's probably time for new worms. That's kinda how I gauge it. I bet that's somewhere around 4 months now that I think about it.
