what i need to my torn appart betta?

well my crowntail got raped by my veil. (veil jumped into my crowntail place)
so im changing the water daily, feed it live blackworms, and some bettafix.

but i read bettafix dont work well with torn apart betta fins.

what should i use for my crowntail to grow his fins back fast?
(i was wondering the blue water substance but dont know the name)

And clean water. Make sure you're doing lots of water changes.

I would have to recommend AQ salt! It doesn't encourage re-growth but it does help fight off infection and disease, although the speed of the recovery is all down to a high protein diet and also the betta himself.

Yep. A few months ago I came home one day to find a significant amount of flesh missing on the top of my betta's snout. Most likely he went after the last ghost shrimp (he killed all 3 ghost shrimp, never again haha) and smashed his snout on an ornament.

Within 3 days the missing flesh had completely grown back, did not even use any medications, just focused on water change and high protein Blood worm diet.

For API AQ Salt, the box says 1/2 tsp per gallon. But a member on this forum, OldFishLady, recommends 1tsp/gal with 100% daily water changes when they have some sort of ailment. Hopefully she posts on this topic to better clarify instructions Or better yet, PM her.

When I treat my guy for tail biting I use, 1tsp of API AQ salt for every 5 US gallons, with daily 100% water changes!

And make sure you dissolve the salt in the new water...don't put the salt in the water that's in the tank already.
