stressed out female?

well now i know if your bettas has horizontal lines, it means they are stressed.
well my betta has 2 horizontal lines now. but when I feed her 5 live blackworms her color turned to darker blue and the stripes completely gone.
after about 5 minutes after the feeding.... she turned her color into light blue with dark 2 black horizontal lines on her body....

im kinda scared... what should i do to release her stress...

(shes a crowntail)

If you have only had her a short time, it is normal for her to be a little stressed. It can also be a normal color pattern for some females and especially for very young fish. Try giving her a lot of places to hide--silk plants or live plants with very large leaves and caves to hide in will help her feel secure. A coffee mug laid on its side makes a great cave if you don't like or can't afford store-bought caves--just rinse well and dry completely before adding it to your tank.

How big is the tank? Do you have a heater for it yet?
