Exclamation Something ain't right

okay so I was just feeding Charlie and I noticed right behind his head was swollen. right above his " spiky" fins. it's never like this. none of the bloated symptoms. can't get a pic right now. going to try fasting him.

any help

okay well i am out and about right now. i will try tomorrow. it just happened today though. and it wasn't there in the morning....

I would watch to see if that bump returns or not... a place on my fish's head did that, and he ended up having lympho for awhile. I don't want you to be paranoid though, lymphocystis is REALLY rare! And my fish was exposed to pet store tank water (EWW!), which I think is how he got it.

When in doubt, do a 100% water change and save a cup full to have a lfs do a full parameter test on (no it doesn't rhyme but it works)

Not my fish(duh) but i can't get my camera. just say the blue area is swollen like he was a female carrying eggs.

Ahh, so he's bloated! How much are you feeding the little guy? Bloating is a common problem with bettas.
