Betta flaring constantly in new Marineland Hex Tank

I am very worried about this fish - he didnt seem overly aggressive in his store container, but as soon as he was put in the 6-sided tank he has been flaring at "everything."

Note: he is flaring at inanimate objects: a heater, a plant, the walls of the tank.

I'm guessing the six sides of the tank are making reflections. Does anyone have experience with this tank? It's been non-stop.

Not non-stop but my fish does tend to flare when i put him back in his tank after cleaning it maybe yours feels really threatened if you have a lot of inanimit objects in the tank try taking them out and putting them back one at a time. So he has time to get used to his surroundings.
