I'm pretty sure the first one is a male plakat, but he's quite gorgeous. I love your pair! It makes me want to get some wilds.

Ok... so I have a question... if one of those is a male, and they are in the same tank, shouldn't he be attacking her?

Can males and females be housed together? I recently read a new publication (sorry, I don't have the name of the book - I was reading it in the petstore) that one male to two females can work out (harem). I have never seen this mentioned anywhere else.

I know if my betta, Baby Blue, was in with any other betta, she'd rip them to shreds!
