Lightbulb Which betta is harder to breed?

I remember hearing that halfmoons are really hard to breed? Presonally I think crowntails are... so do you think that one betta type is harder to breed over another. I also think dark colored fish breed easier but thats just me...
Just a random thought

Well it all depends of the condition of the fish and if they have all of the correct materials. I would think that in my personal opinion, Plakats are very aggressive, thus making them a little more challenging. Also Plakats have short finnage so they are really fast. Sometimes the females are too slow for the male, but with the correct materials NEEDED to breed any betta, the pair will eventually spawn.

It depends on the fish. I have a pair that spawns whenever I put them together...but a member here has a brother who won't spawn at all....it really depends on the fish.

That's my fish lol...I'm going to try a new female with him I think, I don't know but it seems like it's my female that's the problem...or maybe both of them

Anyway yeah I've heard that HMs are the hardest, I would think that's because the males' fins are so big that if the female decided to attack him he'd have a hard time getting away. I've also heard PKs are the hardest because they are the most aggressive, but I agree with MrVamp that it depends on the fish.
