So I've been bitten by the breeding bug again. I had decided that if I were to breed bettas, I would wait until I found a pair that looked kinda purple. Yesterday I went to my LFS to see if they got any new bettas in, and what do I find, a purplish betta. I think he's either a HM or SD, not entirely sure. Anyways, among my travels yesterday I came to be at the Petco. As I was looking at the bettas I saw a purplish girl that was listed as a veiltail. I almost didn't pick her up, but upon closer inspection I saw that she was mislabled and was a crowntail. She came home with me. I would like to breed the two of them, especially since I happened to find them the exact same day. What do you guys think? I won't be breeding them until after the new year if I do. Unfortunatly the pics I took of them make them look more blue than purple, but at least it gives a good idea of how they look.
