how invasive? dwarf sag

I have some dwarf sag on the way that should be here by the end of the week. I primarily got it for my 3 gallon tank where I won't mind it spreading quickly. However, I'm considering it in my other tanks but wanted an idea of just how invasive it is?

How often do you prune it? Most importantly does it choke out other plants?

It spread by runners and if it is happy it can spread fairly fast and cover a lot of space-I don't find either of my dwarf or reg sags to cause any problems as far as choking out other plants since they are up-right growers-but like with any closed system you do have to control them to a degree...especially if they are happy and start sending out runners in every direction-really easy to pinch the runners and move to a new locations or tank.
