New here..

I just found this forum..yay!!

I have kept fish for years but just recently got into Bettas again.

RC is in a divided ten with some snails..his picture is below. The new guy hasn't had his picture taken yet. He's kind of still adjusting. So far he seems ok, but not great.
We'll see how he does.

I'm loving the Bettas! I just want more and more. I mentioned the idea of dividing a 20G to my husband..he didn't seem as excited as I am..lol.

Welcome to Bettafish.com!

I love the closeup picture, too. My betta, Tony poses when I take out my camera. I take lots of pictures of him. So cute!

I actually just zoomed in after the picture was in the computer. My camera is a piece of junk and RC rarely stops moving long enough to snap any pictures at all..lol.
Or..I get a great shot, but he's moved before the camera actually takes the picture. Stupid digitals.

Only one tip...pull up a chair in front of the tank and take a million shots. One of them will be a beauty, I guarantee it..lol

I use a Nikon L18. It was pulled off the shelves afew years ago, as well as its successor the L20. You can get an L22 (12mgpx) for $99.

I have used my L18 to finalize in several photo contest. I hope to win a couple soon.
