I'm so excited for you! My grama is the same way (yet she bought my baby cousin a betta, Flower, and took MY critter keeper to use for her and wont let me get another fish...) But I really hope your mom changes her mind!

I would try the argument that you've already proven you can care for one, another one or two won't be that much more work since you already know how to care for them.

Then she'll give me the "You've spent $100 on this fish in 3 months."

Actually, it's $140. She just doesn't know that :P

I want to convince her, but IDK how. Maybe talk to my dad about it and he can convince her...
