Brine Shrimp?

My Betta loves blood worms, and flakes, if the pellets were a little smaller he'd choke those down too. I was thinking about trying brine shrimp any opinions?

He'll probably love them. Not freeze dried tho - I've read that freeze dried food aren't good for Betta's.

If the pellets are too big - break them up.

That's what I do w/ the Omega One pellets. The label says Small! Are you kidding me?? they are huge!

I break one up & that's enough for one feeding.

HBH Betta Bites are pretty small.

And Aqueon Betta food is small also.

My little stinkers LOVE brine shrimp, though they turn their noses up at the frozen ones and hold out for the freeze dried ones- go figure...

No problems with bloat or constipation so far, and they look and act healthy.

I'm thinking about raising live brine shrimp and see how that goes since they go bonkers for anything that moves and is small enough to kill.

Freeze dried are fine. They will expand so it's up to the owner to give their betta's small size doses and as a treat food couple times a week only.

Look on the label, ton of nutrient content on freeze dried, just don't overfeed!!
