Marbles built his first bubblenest!

Ive had bettas but this is the first one to build a bubblenest!!! (granted, the others may have, and I just didnt know what a bubblenest was until after they were gone >.<)

Anywho Marbles has been rather relaxed lately, but I went out for a while today and came back to this nice little nest he'd made! I went to feed him another pellet or two and he zoomed over and flared at me and the other three sides of the tank before eating the pellets, and then settled on a leaf of the plant above which he built his nest. This means he's a happy, healthy little fishie, right?

^he's so bright now! the camera doesnt to it justice...the red parts of his fins are deep red and the blue is iridescent and shiny =D

He's so pretty! Gald to see he's so happy now. Do you have a one gallon corner aquarium? If so, do you like it? I was wondering about getting one, seeing as my house is ALWAYS warm, if not hot.

The gravel is AWESOME!!! I've never found gravel with that many colors before! :D

i believe my tank is 2 or 2.5...and its not a corner tank either >.<...just a little one that came with a filter...i like the filter cuz instead of just having an intake stuck out in the middle of the tank it has a grid that goes underneath the rocks...I lost two bettas days after I got them because of the other kind of filters >.<

As for a small tank I love it...and he seems to like it enough as well =D

Im pretty happy with him...ive had him for only three days and already I love him to death!

Oh okay. Sounds nice. The gravel just reminded me of a corner aquarium I saw a picture of I guess >.< ahaha

@Wallywest: oh yeah, the gravel...we got it at petco I believe...though i really wanna get this stuff thats black with random stones of these colors mixed in...i think it'd show off his colors more =D
