yes. i have a sepiroth figure next to my tank ( i had to squeeze the tank in on some figurine space, half of the my little pony herd had to be relocated to the top of my pc desk lol) and my fish will just stare at him, and flare.
Sadly i find this somewhat amuseing.

I actually tried to put a figure of Quin'thalan Sunfire (BE paladin from WoW) next to my betta's tank...Stamps flared at him and swam away and hid for 5 mins. Guess he's more of an Alliance player?

.... now i am tempted to re arrange my figures. Maybe Sir Phinniass would like to be the center of the My Little Pony herd... or my lion king collection... heck i'll dig out my beannie babies from my parent's house.


or maybe this is because i just realised my sephy figure is holding a wrath from FMA keychain in one hand, and an airplane shooter bottle of crown royal in the other.

started out on gilgamesh, then went to pandimonium, which merged into asura. My bf still plays my char as i was rdm main. I was 3/4 the way to excalibur. man my friends had a fun shopping day when i quit. " hey man, i havent talked to you much since i switched servers, but i really enjoyed the time we had, wanna make a mule on here so i can give ya 25 mil?"

lol one ffxi nerd ive seen at a local nerd convention allways brings his carby plush. one time he left it unnatended so i made it some paper lingere and a sign pointing to it saying " SLUT RAT"


...im sure any betta would be scared finless if there was a glowing carby allways looking in his tank...

Haha wow..I never got lucky with people giving me gil =P I was just the typical struggling THF/NIN...I still have the pulling procedures for my static... run out, get mob, hope I don't die....DRK pulls hate, SATA+VB off Pally and hope I don't miss and hope I don't die. Aaaand hope the WHM doesn't rage-quit.

The best FFXI nerd I've seen was a RDM human...he had the hat and EVERYTHING!! xD I got pictures..I'll have to scan em in some time.

And I think a Tonberry would be scarier than a carby... xD ...
