Red face Another "convince my parents' thread...

I've been dying for a new betta... or two.
My house has a little room for them.
My brother's dresser could fit another ten gallon, the desk a 5 gallon, the bookshelf in my brother's room could fit a 6.6 gallon bookshelf unit.
The problem is my grama doesn't want to deal with the fish...
but that'd be MY responsibility.

I already got my Christmas present, so I'd have to save money to get the tank and everything.

But I have a 4.0 gpa, am in ALL the accelerated classes I could possibly be in, and take wonderful care of my two bettas already.

What should I do to convince my grama & dad?
I really want a red veiltail boy and maybe a doubletail or another halfmoon or a deltatail... o.o

Also, my uncle is getting rid of his ten gallon. I'd only need a heater and a filter (he wouldn't get real ones for his fish...)

Well...

Tell your parents how you're doing really well in your classes already. And about how you take great care of your current fish and could handle a few more, and that they wouldn't have to pay for anything because you were taking your uncles 10 gallon tank. Tell them how you enjoy fish keeping and it helps you to reward yourself with fish.

Sounds like you've got everything necessary to convince them!
