Youtube Bettas make me want to Vomit

On a whim decided to search youtube bettas this past week and WTF!!!

This is cruelty! wanna know why he died-
1- A common death is : such crap living conditions. Oh come on, in a cup! its sick!
2- Tapping- This freaking causes stress, and if there is nowhere to hide they often die from it. I don't see any hiding places in your tank.
3- Betta's are TROPICAL fish, where is your heater?
4- He may have even suffocated in his own crap!
5- Betta's also breathe oxygen from the surface but require a well oxygenated tank, that's probably just tap water.

poor animal husbandry? on MY youtube? sadly it's very common... You can look up kids making thier pocket pets swim in a backyard pool, live feeding videos, ugh

Ugh, it makes me cringe that I used to think it was okay to keep Bettas in tiny bowls. I had about 3 throughout high school... I'm glad I know better now. I can't believe that some people can be told the truth but ignore it. I'm sure that guy has been told OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

A 10 gallon tank set is like $30? Maybe $50 after a heater and gravel. A nice little 5 gallon set is less. If you don't have that amount of money to invest in a pet you should probably focus on other things.

Indeed, this moron owner made things 10x worse by deliberately tapping the table to startle his pet than followed it up with a mirror. That is just plain stupid.

Since he obviously has web access (uploading his youtube video), the guy never took a few seconds of his time to do a quick google search on how to care for his pet, just plain ignorant individual....
