I need sources.

So, I'm having a lovely debate on another forum about the ethics of albinism and other aspects in betta fish and their breeding (it really is quite fun), but someone has demanded reliable sources about albinism in betta fish and how it leads to health issues, because he has never heard of albino betta fish having health issues. I've found one reliable source, I'd like maybe 3-9 more sources (not from forums) if possible, just so I can prove this doubtful person incorrect... help me? XD . Oh, and does anyone know if the IBC has any articles about albinism open to the public that I could use?

Well, I don't have any sources, but I'm pretty sure that albino bettas have a higher risk of being blind. I remember there was a forumer here a while back that bought an albino betta who turned out to be blind.

They're short lived, mostly or completely blind, so they can't breed anyway. Do fists count as sources? LOL JK.

Lol, unfortunately not Mr.Vamp.

I'm up against them because one has (rightfully (though I'll never admit it to him)) called me a hypocrite. And I shall not rest until I either prove myself not a hypocrite or completely mess up and make myself look even more like one. So, this is a battle of wits and logic of a grown man vs me, where fists have no place. (I desperately want to win this XD)

I go there once in awhile to look up stuff but I'll never post there again. And the language! I've read some pretty filthy stuff on there and some of it was posted by moderators.

They're not as strict as we are also they can be quite rude...it seems that there's a few people who stalk my posts and seriously annoy the heck out of me... I have 72 posts there and over 4,000 posts here...I rest my case.

Nah, it's aquaria central. The people have given up on me XD... Oh, if only I weren't so stubborn... I got what they were saying, and i completely understand their point, though I continued to argue my side. Chances are everyone on there thinks me an idiot for not listening to them. Lol, ah well, I like this forum better anyways, it's much more kid friendly. :)
