used hides- how best to clean?

so i have some glazed ceramic hides i used to use for mice, and i was wondering if im able to wash them and make them acceptable for tank decos and hides for tank mates ( lps having a bogo for boxing day, didnt get any yet as i wanna look into best choices)

http://images.channeladvisor.com/Sel...IP860417_2.jpg looks very simmilar to this, but no logo, and another one which is a cube with large holes on all sides.

maybe i boil them?

A good boil (as long as it won't break them) should be good.

Or vinegar & multiple rinses.

Looks like a great fishy hidey place.

Since they are glazed they should be fine once cleaned. As was mentioned Boiling but with that there is always a chance it will crack and break.

Vinegar works well, then just rinse it until you don't smell any traces of vinegar on it.

Really anything should work as long as you avoid detergeants.

okay, figured as much, i just want this thurough as well i used to be a food rodent breeder ( for rescued reptiles, and i spoiled those guys like crazy and would adopt them out for pets whenever i could, just saying incase theres a rat lover here) and lets just say they got used quite well... rodents constantly dribble urine and feces wherever they go as a path making tool. it gets gross
