I think he looks much better from the day I first got him :) The food I feed him helps bring out his colors. He's very active and just a joy to watch!

Those eyes are different! And Tinsel seems to be a betta of different color (like that 'horse of a different color' in the Wizard of OZ)! :)

BTW, what are you feeding your betta? I feed mine Hikari Betta Bio-Gold Baby Pellet and Omega One Betta Buffet (mostly Bio-Gold when fry) and I alternate each feeding.

My Baby Blue has rusty brown eyes. When you look down at her from above and she's looking down, it looks like she has silver eyelids.

Every betta I've seen is unique and beautiful. :)

Thank you! Yes, I love his eyes and everytime I look at him, his color changes! Sometimes he's more red and others, he's more blue!

I feed him Hikari Betta Bio-Gold - http://www.petco.com/product/3983/Hi...0Bio-Gold-3983 and freeze dried bloodworms a few times a week.

Aw, do you have any pictures of her? :) Do Betta fish have eyelids? I was under the impression that they didn't.

Yes, no one Betta is alike and they are all so beautiful!

I'm not sure about eyelids - I think fish do have eyelids but they are clear, which is why if they are sleeping they still look like their awake. At any rate, BB looks like she has silver eyelids, but I think what I am seeing the reflection of the tank light on the tops of her eyes. :)

I'm hoping to have a photo of BB and her tankmates soon. My BF says he'll take pictures for me and he's a pro photographer, so I'm hoping they'll be good. With my luck, he'll probably get her while she's taking a poo or something... lol! :p

When I have pictures, I'll let you know. :)
