Hello there! I just bought a Betta yesterday, not knowing much about them. I had heard from several friends that they are fairly easy fish to own. But I didn't realize that they need to be kept at a certain temperature, etc.
I had a bit of a fish melt down earlier... Frantically searching for some source of heat. I moved him from my room to the computer room, had a little blanket around him for a while (that didn't help at all). Finally I got a heater and am now roasting my room to try and keep him at 70+ degrees. Like seriously, I was freaking out because he was 65 degrees!
Now he is really mad.
And I am worried because he keeps swimming around with this peeved attitude. Is there anything that I can do? I fed him yesterday, but I'm not sure when he was fed before that. Or even if it would help! He has a little plastic bush but I can't get him a cave or a real fish tank heater yet. I do not plan on moving him around anymore.
Should I just let him calm down?
