Is this the right light bulb?

I'm getting a planted aquarium. The lights that fit in the tank (There is a light cover there to block out water) Is this size:

This is a lighbulb that meets the requirement that I need:

Does anyone know if they are the same thickness around? Not length, but thickness. Because the light cover only allows smaller bulbs such as the first one I mentioned...

I don't know. Does it have the measurements? Look at the size of the base of both bulbs. They should be the same so the cfl will be a little bit wider.

PS: couldn't You have posted this question in your main 10 gal question thread? Just saying it's easier to answer your questions when they are all in one thread. That way we don't have to go looking through your other threads to get the specs needed.

Oh ya I forgot about that thread lol it got pushed back a couple of pages...

And I never thought of comparing the bases... So I compared them and it will fit.
