What do you guys think?

I have had bettas for the last two years. I had this idea of getting six 2.5 gallon tanks. One with each color: Yellow, Orange, Red, Green, Blue, and purple. And have the rocks match their color. And instead of naming each fish have a name a color and just keep getting replacements. What is a good name for a blue betta? I have color names for every other color but blue. Currently ever other color name is after an artist so I would like to continue that trend. What do you guys think of that? Is this some thing I could do?

It sounds good, yeah, and I'm going to sound overly-sensitive here, but I don't like the idea of "replacing" bettas... they're living things, you just don't throw a new one in a tank when the old one dies.

I felt the same way! I had to wait a year until I got a new Betta. (btw- it was really hard being Bettaless for a year! lol)It's sad when they die, especially when they've been with you for years

I just lost two and it was very hard on me too that is why I thought it would be easier if I just kept the six with the same name. What is a good name for a blue betta? I want an artist name.

I don't know if this will help but I find biblical names interesting and maybe fitting for a blue betta? (Malachi, Leviticus, Genesis.. etc)

Before you get the six bettas, just make sure you can keep up with the water changes... two bettas to six bettas is a big step.
