Question Over stocked??

I used a stocking calculator online, and it said I was stocked 93%!!! I didn't even think I was close to being stocked!!

I have a 14 gallon sorority. I origionally had 5 fish, but yesterday, one died of inflamed Gills. I am not sure what happened, she was sick when I got her. But anyways, this is what I have in there. Do you really think I am at my maximum??

4 betta females
1 african dwarf frog (soon to be 2)

I've read that with sororities, stocking rules don't exactly apply. The more fish you have, the less aggression there is. Most people have up to 8 girls in a 10 gallon. You could definitely add to your tank.

So, as long as I keep up with the water changes and keep ammonia down, I'll be all right? Yay!! So how many fish would you recommend?

I think that calculator basically goes by the inch-per-gallon rule. As it is you are perfectly fine; at about 8 females I would say it would be close to being overstocked.

Yes it could work with 7 females... the more the merrier, so long as you aren't overstocking.
